You will be helping people to connect through regular conversations. We provide connection with other services like Centrelink, food services, housing, healthcare and counselling.

Playgroups provide opportunities for families to create social connections and learning opportunities. Child and Family Service on the Gold Coast, Early Years Centre provides educational and social support to families and their children. Volunteers support staff to facilitate groups and develop connections with families attending. 4 Voices are looking for Team Leaders to support our small outreach teams on the Gold Coast. Team leaders coach and manage our volunteers to support vulnerable girls and women on outreach shift locations.

As an Outreach Leader you will have the opportunity to manage the delivery of outreach shifts to ensure they operate as scheduled in each GC location. Role is to motivate and lead outreach shift teams. (C)

Telecross supports older Australian’s who are isolated and at risk of accident or illness that may go unnoticed, such as falling or being unable to call for help.

Telechat supports older Australian’s who live alone and have minimal social contact with others in their community.

Our Community Visitor program aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. You can be part of the solution by offering your time and talents to make life better for someone.

Starting a Walking Group is a great way to be social and stay active – and we’ll support you all the way! Heart Foundation Walking is seeking volunteers to start and lead walking groups in their neighbourhood. Walk Organisers need no prior experience and will receive full training and support from the Heart Foundation.

Approved volunteers agree to provide mentoring and friendship to a young person between the ages of 7 and 17. They commit to spending quality time with a carefully selected young person from a vulnerable or disadvantaged background for approximately 2 hours per fortnight for a period of 12 months. You will not be sitting in an office all day but going out to meet mentees.
