Sanctuary Aus Limited is a not-for-profit community owned and operated organisation for children, young people and families in the Canberra region. We are currently seeking Board Members with experience in one or more of the following areas: o Community Sector service delivery o Administrative or Corporate Law o Public Relations and Marketing or Communication

Are you interested in working as a volunteer telephone counsellor? Do you have a counselling qualification and, preferably, previous experience in the community sector? Then this is the position for you!

All donations of baby and kids items are checked for quality, safety, cleanliness and appropriateness before being distributed to families in need. The volunteer role involves thoroughly checking clothes, toys, linen and books, cleaning them when needed and packing into gift packs, and thoroughly cleaning larger items such as prams, bassinets, car seats and high chairs.

This is a General Board Member opportunity to support the vision, values and objectives of Little Things for Tiny Tots. As an organisation, we give babies a better start at life by supplying essential items to families in need. In this role - through board meetings attendance and and working on additional projects with staff and volunteers - you will support the overall direction, effectiveness and impact of Little Things for Tiny Tots. Preference is for applicant to live in WA.
