The role of the Volunteer is to aid the consumer during their journey through the Emergency Department at Canberra Hospital; to ease emotional distress and anxiety experienced by patients, their families, and friends through the provision of practical support under the guidance of Emergency Department staff.

Merchandise stall holders collect cash and facilitate EFTPOS donations, and sell small merchandise. Support Red Nose funding vital programs and bereavement care services.

As the Learning and development Officer you will be responsible for developing and implementing a program of work aligned to the G2K’s Training Strategy and Plan to build best practice in training and competency. You will also be responsible for organizing and facilitating various training programs and events as per training needs of the project.
