Red Cross has been responding to emergencies and providing humanitarian assistance in Australia since 1914. We are committed to strengthening and extending our emergency aid services to assist all Australians in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies. As part of our Emergency Services team, you will join our cohort of trained volunteers ready to assist locally and across the state in times of emergency.

Join The Violet Initiative as a Violet Guide and support Australians through one of life's most challenging stages. Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. Every Guide receives full training and on-going support, but most importantly, every Guide comes with the lived experience of caring for someone they love. Apply by Wednesday 5 June 2024.
