MDFA's Peer Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.

We are seeking someone to fill shift Tuesday afternoon 1pm-4pm. Duties include welcoming clients, answering phones and more. Support provided and a great environment to learn.

We provide a sit-down, 2-course meal to our guests, the vulnerable and homeless in Brisbane, every Saturday. We also provide a 'shop' and food pantry which provides free toiletries, pantry items and other essentials to our guests. As a food and beverage assistant, you will work in a team with other volunteers to ensure that our community meal and shop operate every Saturday.
