Way Finding Volunteers help families navigate their way around the Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH).Everyday QCH sees more than 1000 families come through the doors and the Way Finders are often the first point of contact for worried and often hurried parents, offering a welcoming smile and a gentle guiding hand.

As an Operating Theatre Recovery volunteer, you will work closely with staff to support the post-anaesthetic care of patients by providing comfort, as well as reconnecting and regulating caregiver visits. The Emergency Relief Food Pantry prepares food parcels for disadvantaged members of the local community. We are looking for someone to assist with driving to rescue / collect food for our Pantry. Some moderate lifting will be required. A current Car Drivers License will be necessary. Steel cap boots may be required.

Help build and support your community by providing support for our social groups, enabling them to attend outings / activities / events in the Community. Our volunteer drivers are needed to assist with the driving of our 10 - 12 seater Toyota HiAce mini-bus (C Class Licence is sufficient). Our volunteers are highly valued and appreciated and we could not provide outings for our community without them! Applicants would need to be fully vaccinated and be eligible for a Blue Card.
