Seeking volunteers to support Dementia Australia staff and clients in our various social support programs, which are held on weekday mornings. Our social support programs are held every day Monday to Friday and include various opportunities to join groups such as our coffee and chat, gallery/museum groups, craft, woodworking, men’s shed and walking groups around the ACT. The secretary is responsible for the documentation and communication of the activities within the FAR Committee. The secretary is the primary administration officer of the Committee and provides the links between the Committee, members and outside agencies. Amongst the Secretary's tasks are to prepare agendas, prepare and distribute minutes, and manage both ingoing and outgoing communication.

A Consumer Advisor is a member of our community who can voice a lived experience of health care at Western Health. They participate in committees, focus groups, projects and a range of other activities to ensure the patient perspective is always considered. Consumer Advisors are part of the Western Health community and should reflect the diversity of our community
