Their team performs a range of general maintenance tasks, performs routine inspections of premises and equipment. Working with tools and basic light machinery performing preventative maintenance, handling basic repairs, prepare walls and other surfaces for painting etc.

Volunteers are required for transporting of Young People and Children in care. Transporting will include from the Blair Athol DCP office to other Family contact locations, eg schools and libraries. Transporting of the children is with use of government vehicles.

As a Local Coordinator, you will provide additional support to a High School Exchange student from overseas who is living with a host family and attending High School in your local community. A Local Coordinator must live within 2 hours of where a student is living. If you are interested in other cultures, young people and families, this role is perfect for you. You may have been an exchange student or host family yourself - but that is not a requirement.

It will involve reading messages and creating posts and replying to customers. This dynamic team install wildlife and possum boxes for our Wildlife Carers. The boxes in which we release our wildlife / possums are made of 19mm pine to provide the best insulation during our hotter summers but are therefore 6.5kg plus wildlife weight (up to 2kg). Ladders and harnesses are used to ensure safety for our installation team and training in best practice WH&S is also provided.
