The Library Reception Desk Volunteer is the friendly and welcoming face of Genealogy SA. They provide guidance to members, visitors and those who call us to use the Society’s family history information resources. In this role, volunteers will find themselves assisting a variety of people with their genealogical research, providing them with a great opportunity for growth in their own learning.

If you're punctual, reliable and honest, all you need is to hold a current test and tagging certification or qualifications as an electrician. (However, if you feel that you meet the requirements of this role, we may look at putting you through the course at our cost.) This is a great opportunity if you have electrical experience and are looking to meet some new people.

The Lyell McEwin Hospital serves a community of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Some people may find the hospital difficult to navigate finding the ward or service they need. Guides are often the first face a visitor sees when entering the hospital and have the important role of greeting patients and visitors as they arrive.

Volunteers in this role provide support and guidance to the visitors and staff of the Modbury Hospital Outpatients Department by greeting patients on arrival and directing patients to the required area.

Some of our elderly residents need a person for social support to attend outings to appointments with them in the community. Do you wish to share some of your time assisting them in the role.

As an E-waste and Chemical Support Volunteer, you will provide advise and assist members of the public when dropping off their recycling at a self-service E-waste drop-off facility, located at the Council Depot, 6 Newton Rd, Campbelltown.

Woodcroft/Morphett Vale Neighbourhood Centre has a vibrant reception where you can utilize your admin skills or learn new skills. Like talking to people and would like to be part of a group whose sole purpose is to help others? They will train you in the role and provide support until you are ready to take off your training wheels. The centre is always buzzing with programs and interesting people to meet.

Our reservoir reserves are home to beautiful landscapes and unique flora and fauna. Join a group of like-minded people and help nurture these special places. You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors. Activities include bushcare, revegetation, habitat improvement, biodiversity surveys (e.g. birds, frogs, plants), fish stocking and supporting community events.
