Do you have an interest in gardening? Our aged care home at Hendon has a central outdoor courtyard which needs some weekly TLC. This role is a role where you can choose your days and times to be able to attend and with the use of our gardening equipment potter and nurture the courtyard for our residents and families to enjoy.

Some of our elders at our Wayville home really wish to re-ignite their passion for music and in particular being part of a weekly choir. Do you have a few spare hours to visit once a week and get a choir group running enjoying the love of music?

Our Wayville home team are calling out for some support. If you are keen to assist with some maintenance tasks we would love to hear from you. We would be happy with one shift a week or two, hours can vary depending on your availability and choice of tasks you're willing to do. Its a very comfortable atmosphere and the guys are fun and inclusive.

Do you enjoy pottering enjoying gardens and assisting in simple maintenance jobs, if that sounds like you I would love to hear from you. Our Hendon home would love you support for 1 or more days a week. This role is flexible and would love to have support assisting the beauty of the gardens. There is also opportunity to work with residents in easy gardening pottering in garden beds, and growing some herbs and flowers as the seasons change.

This role supports our hospitality team in kitchen to deliver a positive dining experience and meal satisfaction for the elderly people who live in our Aged Care homes.

Did you know that Kalyra Woodcroft Aged Care facility has had their cafe area fully renovated and Jessie’s Place, a modern café with all new equipment, is looking for volunteers to be part of a fun & rewarding environment?! The gardening program support volunteer will collaborate with the leisure and lifestyle team and volunteer gardening program to assist in the delivery of gardening programs and linked activities which are designed to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents based on their individual needs, interests and cultural backgrounds.

Eldercare aged care home at Woodcroft is seeking maintenance gardening support volunteer who can commit to a weekly shift with our team.

Do you love to read books or newspapers? Do you enjoy story telling? Eldercare Glengowrie, Hendon, Payneham and Hope Valley are looking for a volunteer to read to residents who are no longer able to read alone due to sight impairment or cognitive decline.

Can you work independently and relate well to others? Do you enjoy helping those in the community who are transport disadvantaged? Are you a friendly and reliable driver? We’re looking for drivers to help us provide a valuable service to our community by transporting people to a range of programs and outings. We welcome regular and occasional volunteers.

Do you have qualifications or experience in maintenance or handy skills and have some spare time to join our team? General handy-person jobs include small painting jobs, hanging pictures, changing light globes, fixing equipment, freshening up rooms for new residents and more. Pottering in the large gardens and courtyards. All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccinations, triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work vulnerable persons.
