Southern Districts Baseball Club exists with the aim of promoting & furthering the game of baseball in the south of Adelaide...and they need your assistance! Would you like to assist with the upkeep of the baseball diamond? What about performing general handyman work around the premises? The Social group meets Monday and Thursday mornings. As one of the Repair Volunteers, you will assist visitors to the repair cafe to: * fix their broken/damaged household items. You will already have the skills to fix one or more of the following: * electrical/electronic/mechanical items * clothing/bedding/other * textiles, jewellery, toys, woodwork, metalwork, bicycles, * and/or other general items You will be able to provide advice to visitors about whether specific items * can be fixed & the parts needed.

EMS Snorkel Guides volunteer at weekend community snorkels or weekday school snorkels, starting as a trainee snorkel guide assistant, helping the lead snorkel guide in the water with small groups. Free accredited training in 'Lead Snorkel Activities' is available for volunteers who wish to gain more experience and become a Lead Snorkel Guide. Snorkels take place at various locations along the Adelaide coast as well as regional areas in SA.

Heart Foundation Walking is seeking volunteers to start and lead walking groups in their neighbourhood. Walk Organisers need no prior experience and will receive full training and support from the Heart Foundation.

Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.
