Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. If there is a particular role you are interested in, then that is completely up to you.

Share your love of music with our residents at Weekly Concerts and Special Events. We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. As you volunteer sing, play and perform, you'll be providing a great live music experience for elderly people living at HammondCare in Horsley.

As you visit and spend time with the elderly residents in our Aged Care Home in Scone, you'll pamper people by providing a gentle hand massage or nail care, such as filing or nail polish (no cutting).

We're looking for a kind, caring and supportive friend for some of our Italian residents at our Wattle Grove Community in Lalor. Whether you love to read the paper, sing & enjoy music or having a cuppa and a chat our residents would love to spend time with you. We're hoping you can be the gentle supporting hand to assist our residents to become more involved in day-to-day life at the home. We're looking for a kind, caring and supportive friend for one of our residents, Elizabeth*. Liz loves music, having a cuppa and a chat and sometimes a short walk around the garden to get her daily dose of sunshine. Liz loves arts and crafts but doesn't get involved in activities as much as she would like as she is a little shy.
