Meals on Wheels Fraser Community has been operating for 56 years in the local area, delivering 2500 each week to approximately 500 clients. Our volunteers find the experience of volunteering for MOW very rewarding, and many have been with us for more than 10 years, and have formed lifetime friendships with staff, volunteers and clients.

We are seeking a volunteer to assist in mobilising residents in wheelchairs - transferring them from their rooms to the recreational room for activities, sitting with our residents during activities and returning them to their rooms following activities. Capecare Volunteer Program requires volunteers for up to 15 hours per week to assist with tasks over 2 or 3 days per week. This role includes a diverse range of activities including assisting the Lifestyle team with garden walks, mobility walks, one-on-one chats, lifestyle activities. Volunteers will be supported by Lifestyle staff and allied health staff.
