Whether you love to read the paper, sing, enjoy music or a tea/coffee, or chat, our residents would love to spend time with you. We're hoping you can be the gentle supporting hand to assist our residents to become more involved in day-to-day life at the home. We love nothing more than hearing the beautiful Macedonian language from our volunteers & our residents.

Liz loves music, having a cuppa and a chat and sometimes a short walk around the garden to get her daily dose of sunshine. Liz loves arts and crafts but doesn't get involved in activities as much as she would like as she is a little shy. At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for volunteer who can speak Greek to spend some quality time with an elderly greek couple who live in Bentleigh. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk.
