The role includes calculating fares, selecting and reconciling tickets for each visit of the historic SteamRanger train. Volunteers are needed to help out at the Historic Albany Goal (not the real one!). Training will be provided. so that you will be able to provided. Also locking and unlocking the goal. Currently looking for people to do a shift on the weekend; Saturday & or Sunday alternating shifts 10-1 or 1-4pm. Sunday 10-1. If you like to meet new people and love history this could be a great opportunity for you.

Join this friendly and passionate team of volunteers. This role involves maintaining and restoring heritage railway rolling stock (rail motors) for operation on the national rail network. Your previous boiler maker experience would be appreciated as the role includes fabrication of metal facilities within our Depot precinct. Our maintenance facilities are located in our Depot at Paterson.

Do you have a love of trains? We are looking for versatile volunteers and have several different positions to fill: Driver / Guard / Signaller / Maintenance Crew and the Kiosk. In each of these positions you can also assist with roles such as customer service, public direction, ticket collection, signal operation, guard, maintenance crew etc. and eventually the elevation to 'Train Driver' for those who are interested.
