Front of house involves greeting visitors, recording visitor numbers, recording any sales and ensuring museum is clean & tidy. Training will be available so that you can help with answering visitor questions re local history.

Do you have a love of trains? We are looking for versatile volunteers and have several different positions to fill: Driver / Guard / Signaller / Maintenance Crew and the Kiosk. In each of these positions you can also assist with roles such as customer service, public direction, ticket collection, signal operation, guard, maintenance crew etc. and eventually the elevation to 'Train Driver' for those who are interested.
