Would you like to volunteer your time supporting newcomer families settling in the community? Do you speak a community language such Arabic, Dari and or Farsi?

MiCare is looking for committed and enthusiastic people to volunteer in our Family Learning Clubs in Werribee and Laverton. The program aims to assist newly arrived young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds with their school work, basic literacy and numeracy skills. Must be over 18 years of age.

As an English Teacher Volunteer, you will be providing a training programme; empowering migrant and refugee women by teaching them conversational English.
