To allay the apprehension of those who find strangeness and loneliness in their new hospital surroundings, the volunteers visit inpatients, escort new patients and visitors to appointments, provide comfort, always with a kind word or gesture and good cheer.

The Ellenbrook Mile promotes mental and physical wellbeing in the Ellenbrook and surrounds area. We are seeking Information Officers for our quirky kiosk in Ellenbrook Shopping Centre. Radio Lollipop's amazing volunteers provide care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children in hospital. You too can add some fun and laughter into a child's stay at hospital, brighten their road to recovery, and all as part of a wonderful team. A one-year commitment is required, consisting of a weekly 2.5 - 3 hour shift. PCH provides the unique opportunity to work on the radio, with volunteers rotating between broadcasting and interactive play on the ward.
