The specific tasks that we require assistance with are around making contact with families including updating and documenting personal information; details for event attendances; record keeping etc.

The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a space designed to be a welcoming break from the ward environment for sick children and their families whilst staying in the Children's Ward. We are looking for Volunteers to join our existing force of 'Everyday Super Heroes' as a Weekend Warrior, at our Townsville House. In this volunteer role, you will be the face of the organization and the first point of contact for our families, volunteers, donors and visitors who walk through our doors during weekend hours and provide support in the event of an emergency. You will ensure efficiency of House operations at weekends, with 3 different 4 hour shifts available between 8am - 8pm.

This role is a 'sleep over' position, whereby you support our current in house families, take any after hours call from the hospital about availability of rooms for emergency incomings and meet and greet families including checking in as required.

Receptionist and admin support volunteer opportunity for our friendly children and family hub, First Steps Count in Taree. Our focus is on children 0-12 to give them the best possible start. Preferably have admin skills, but we are happy to train as well. We are looking for someone who is friendly and enjoy being amongst children.
