Family Services Regular - more than 6 months Orange NSW

About this opportunity

As a Weekend Warrior in a cross functional role, your role will include but not be limited to:

Greeting families as they enter and providing an orientation to our new families. Assisting families with any inquiries they may have. Taking calls/inquiries from the hospital about room availability through to entering families into our systems and running end of day reports. Additionally there may be a range of general admin tasks.

As a member of our Domestic God and Goddess Housekeeping team, you can expect to meet many likeminded volunteers, make some wonderful friends and have fun whilst keeping our beautiful home clean and tidy for our guests.

Your role may consist of, but not be limited to the following:

  • thorough clean of communal spaces, being the kitchen and dining area, lounge area, play area, quiet room. Cleaning of family rooms once a family has vacated to make it ready for our next family. General tidying of play areas, wiping high touch points and glass areas, vacuuming and mopping and emptying bins. The restocking and tidying of our kitchen areas.

We understand this role may not be the most glamourous, but we are certainly grateful to those who have put their hand up to get stuck in and ensure we provide a comfortable and clean environment for our families. You can also be very assured that our families are so very grateful for making their time safe and comfortable.
