This role would support new parents to their role as parents, support the wellbeing and development of children and bring an understanding of the challenges of parenting and support parents to find their own solutions

The role is supporting parents, grandparents, and significant others in a child's life to navigate the Child Safety system. FIN Townsville offers free independent support to all families involved in Child Safety to ensure the safety of children is paramount, and families are appropriately supported. The Moorabbin Area Toy Library is a not-for-profit organisation which has been supporting local families with the tools for play for over 30 years. We are run by a dedicated and passionate volunteer committee and member volunteers. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to weekly or fortnightly shifts on Saturday mornings between 10am - 1pm. This could be for the full 3 hours or just a couple of hours.

Come along to our Play and Learn Playgroup at Moorditj Kulungar Kwinana. This session provides learning through play opportunities and a safe space for children and families to connect. The Playgroup is for children aged 0 – 4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child’s life and prepare them for school.
