You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors. Activities include bushcare, revegetation, habitat improvement, biodiversity surveys (e.g. birds, frogs, plants), fish stocking and supporting community events.

The native plant seed orchard aims to grow seed for revegetation on the farm site and to share knowledge and skills to be able to increase involvement of community members and make revegetation more accessible to community from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. in summer volunteers will collect and manage grassland seeds, in winter volunteers will be part of revegetation projects, in autumn volunteers will support the building and set-up of the native seed orchard.

A small team of volunteers approx 8 on each shift who are dedicated to caring for the wildlife who live at Kanyana permanently.

Work is in the bush, removing weeds so that native plants will regenerate, improving the biodiversity of the park.

Park Ambassadors are passionate about the history, community, and the continuous development of the park. Through interaction with visitors, we provide meaningful and enriching experiences for every demographic. Our ambassadors have specialised knowledge of the park and are able to assist our visitors on a day-to-day basis, at our events, and seasonal activities throughout the year.

Central Coast Wetlands is a multi-purpose nature space on Crown Land. You will be working to improve the site that was previously used for agriculture and aim to improve aesthetics. You will work closely with the Caretaker and Volunteer coordinator to clean and maintain three assets that CCW uses for events.
