From working in the nursery and in our gardens. including the Community Garden, helping with our projects and events to helping in the office, our volunteers give a large amount of time. Want to help restore our native bushland? Bassendean Preservaton Group (BPG) is a local community bushcare group. We are looking for volunteers to help out at our native plant nursery in Ascot on Wednesday mornings, on a regular basis. Also to help out with bushland plantings on occasional weekend mornings throughout the year, mostly in winter. We plant around the Bassendean area, mostly around the foreshore and wetland areas. You are welcome to come on either Wednesdays, weekends, or both.

The Media & Marketing Coordinator for PNB: Liaise with media outlets and what’s on listings. Plans and implements the marketing and promotions for PNB including special events, meetings, workshops and tours. Liaises with media contacts as necessary to promote PNB activities including news releases. Builds on the PNB media contact list for development and use at events. Works closely with the committee members such as the events, and education organisers to promote our activities.
