Friends of Lagoon Creek Group is seeking someone passionate about the local environment and conservation to join our team to help with Volunteer Coordination. our mission of ecological restoration in Caboolture. Our projects focus on regenerating native habitats, protecting wildlife, and creating a sustainable environment for future generations.

Our team is seeking a passionate marine enthusiast who would love to share their knowledge to the wider community about the marine or coastal environment or marine biodiversity and is willing to assist in developing our citizen science program for the rocky shores. This position provides valuable experience to university students and post-grads desiring work experience in marine conservation, and offers the potential to lead to post-grad studies or full-time employment in this field.

The successful applicant will need - NDIS Worker Screening (Blue and Yellow Card) - Strong communication skills - Confident to be working with people from a diverse range of cultures, backgrounds, and disabilities - Gardening experience in home or professional Availability between Monday to Friday, 12:30pm – 3:30pm with a maximum of 8 hours required.
