You are required for the upcoming Visual Impact Brisbane show on Wednesday 17 - Friday 19 July 2024. We are looking for multiple passionate individuals to assist at the event in various roles, breaks will be given and Lunch supplied.

Volunteering with us will give you the opportunity to experience how a library service operates as you assist with all aspects of library operations. You will gain skills of value for the workplace, be a valued part of the team, while also having the experience of a community run service.

The volunteer will assist with the early literacy program Paint Bunbury REaD which encourages everyone to "talk, read, sing, rhyme, yarn, draw and play with children every day from birth. The volunteer's roles will include monitoring the book swap boxes, creating some resources and assisting at story time events.

Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House is looking for volunteers who can read with students, help with their homework, run games or activities (sport, art, music, science etc) or even just help prepare healthy snacks. Our homework club works with primary school children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Sunshine, Albion and surrounding suburbs to support their learning and confidence.

Sit and Read with students as part of the Reading Mentor program, any afternoon from 2pm to 3pm.
