Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House is a community-managed Eco-Living Centre providing a diverse range of programs, workshops, activities and events to the communities of Albion, Ardeer and surrounding suburbs. KCNH offers community meeting space for all community members to contribute and participate.

Job description :

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals with a passion for helping kids learn and build confidence.

Our homework club works with primary school children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Sunshine, Albion and surrounding suburbs to support their learning and confidence. We provide a safe and welcoming space to help students strengthen literacy and numeracy skills and build their connection to community.

We are looking for volunteers who can read with students, help with their homework, run games or activities (sport, art, music, science etc) or even just help prepare healthy snacks.

Our homework club takes place every Tuesday between 3:15 - 5pm during school terms at Albion Primary School, Adelaide St, Albion.

This volunteer position would suit anyone with passion for, or interest in community and youth work or education. We provide training opportunities, ongoing support and a warm, friendly and inclusive working environment where your time and skills will be highly valued.


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
