    As a non-profit, non-government funded organisation, Guide Dogs WA relies on vital funding from the community to raise and train Guide Dogs. Community Events Volunteers play a vital role in our fundraising program by representing Guide Dogs WA at community events to raise awareness and much needed funds for the organisation. Some examples of community events may include school fairs, community festivals and weekend markets.

    FishAbility by Fishcare Victoria is a program that provides Victorians living with a disability acess to recreational fishing from Piers and Jetties. We work with special needs schools, disability homes, aged care facilities, local councils and not-for-profits to provide a fun, safe, and adaptive fishing program for all. Our work also contributes to developing a sense of awareness and appreciation of our aquatic environments to promote stewardship of natural resources into the future.
