The Care Crew is an essential group within the CSCI Champion program. The Care Crew are called upon when the threat of an adverse weather event, disaster or emergency has impacted our community .

We are committed to strengthening and extending our emergency aid services to assist all Australians in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies. As part of our Emergency Services team, you will join a group of over 900 trained volunteers ready to assist locally and across the state in times of emergency.

Here is your chance to make a difference! You will be able to achieve this by organising and preparing a weekly/fortnightly/monthly meal for people who may be experiencing, (or who are at risk of) homelessness as well as other vulnerable groups in the community. This volunteer role involves working with a small team of like-minded volunteers who will create a warm & welcoming space for meals to be served, and engage with clients who attend in a respectful and non-judgemental manner.
