Do you speak Italian - we would love to meet you! At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Avondale Heights. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family, celebrating Italian festivities while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk, do a puzzle, read Italian stories etc.

Fair Trade & Gift Shop have a very large selection of books, both in the shop and online. We need volunteers who can match the books with an excel spread sheet, so we know what we have. This is a short-term volunteer assignment that can be done with friends! Candidates with a passion for reading English books and strong reading and writing skills in English are encouraged to apply.

The Townsville Folk Festival is an annual, volunteer run event. It is a family friendly 4 day camping and live music festival.

Our volunteers help our borrowing sessions to run smoothly and help us keep our toys in good condition, and are only possible thanks to our wonderful volunteers! We require assistance with checking returned toys, re-shelving toys, and helping members find new toys to take home!
