Volunteer Toy Library Assistant
About this opportunity
Capricorn Coast Toy Library Inc is located in Yeppoon, Qld. Our community service allows local families to borrow toys, games and puzzles. Our mission is to provide the children of Capricorn Coast with a wide variety of play items, but also to help families manage their budgets. We offer a low cost 12 month toy borrowing membership for access to our entire catalogue. (This can be viewed on cctl.setls.com.au)
We are seeking** volunteers (15yrs+) **who can regularly commit to helping during opening hours. This may be once a fortnight, once a month or even once a term. You will be part of a happy team who love to help children and their parents find the perfect play thing to borrow. Our not-for-profit organisation is run only by volunteers, so your contribution is greatly valued.

Volunteer Shifts available are: Thursday 9:30am - 12:30pm Saturday 9:30am - 12:30pm We ask for a minimum commitment of 4 volunteer shifts per year

All training will be provided on site. You will require a Working with Children Blue Card, and be willing to abide by our Code of Conduct. Volunteers will be provided with a "Toy Library Volunteer" apron to wear whilst on duty so you are easily identified. The space is air conditioned, and accommodations can be made for people with low mobility.
