Darkness to Daylight is returning for its 11th year on the 29th - 30th May 2024. This signature community event will enter a new era at Queensland Parliament House, corner of Alice and George streets and it’s the only event of its kind to be held within these very special grounds.

We are urgently seeking volunteers who are happy to help with functions and events. Events include our Old Style Dance, Morning Melodies, Regular Munchys - our Sausage Sizzle Style event, and varied other special events and private hire functions. We need Volunteers for set up, pack down for functions as well assistance with kitchen, wait staff, admission staff, baristas and bar staff. We are happy to provide training in these areas, just need nice people willing to help and learn.

The Computer tutor will work with clients that may be engaged in other various support programs offered at the Centre - to help build their Computer skills, confidence, and competence.

This volunteer opportunity will work alongside our Distribution Centre teams assisting with general warehouse duties to support the funding of our 24-hour crisis support line through the sale of donated products across our Gold Coast retail shops.
