A Warehouse Assistant supports the organisation by overseeing operational duties in the remit of ‘transport and logistics’. This could mean scanning materials as they arrive or leave the warehouse to maintain stock level records, moving items around from point A to B. Just assisting with the day-to-day running of a storage or logistics warehouse.

ReStore, Habitat for Humanity’s ‘op shop for building materials and furniture’, sells a range of items from large dining room tables and cupboards to the smallest tap washers and wood screws. All goods are generously donated by Adelaide businesses and individuals. We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers who can drive our truck (standard driver’s license) and lend a hand loading and transporting goods. Assistance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays particularly needed.

As the Maintenance Support Volunteer, you will assist the Maintenance Officer to prepare homes for OARS clients which will include furniture deliveries and removals, with some basic maintenance duties required to provide a smooth transition for those entering new housing whilst being supported by the OARS accommodation team.
