Fitzroy Scout Group is looking for a Quartermaster (equipment coordinator) to join our Group Support Committee (similar to an advisory board). The role of the Quartermaster is to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of group gear such as tents, sleeping bags, and other camping equipment. This role would involve infrequent commitment and be quite flexible in the timing.

As a Scout Leader, you'll work as part of a team to organise a program of adventurous activities for young people aged 11-14 years old, including camps, weekly activities, outdoor adventures and practical learning. Swan Estuary Reserves Action Group, SERAG, is a local group of volunteers who enjoy hands-on caring and restoring health to the A-Class foreshore and bush reserves adjacent to the Swan River Estuary Marine Park on Melville’s river front in Attadale, Alfred Cove and Tompkins Park. Volunteers will weed and/or plant for two hours of a morning, then share a cuppa and cake together (provided) whilst enjoying the beautiful location that they are helping to restore and maintain.
