Choir Helper at Port Noarlunga ACH Sing for Joy Choir is growing, & they are looking for another volunteer help! They need someone who loves being around older people & doesn’t mind singing even if they think that they can’t sing! Sing for Joy, Port Noarlunga, is held weekly on a Wednesday afternoon, between 12.30 and 3.30pm to help set up and serve tea and coffee. How would you like to be involved in Weekly Bowls? Well, there is a weekly bowls gig held at the Christies Beach Bowling Club. This is on a Friday morning. This will have you involved with helping folks collect bowls, prepare morning tea & other things that help the group facilitator. You don’t need to be a bowler, just like being around older people. ACH has a monthly movie gig – at Wallis Noarlunga Cinema. On the last Wednesday of the month, they are looking for someone to help welcome customers, help link them together in chat & assist with morning tea! Share your passion for music as you play the piano for elderly residents at HammondCare in North Turramurra, a residential aged care home. You'll be helping people to maintain their mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing.

Our client would enjoy the company of a caring, reliable and empathetic volunteer with good communication skills and an ability to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits.

Spend time with people who are living with dementia. You'll help assist with mealtime at the HammondCare aged care home in Erina. You'll find this volunteer opportunity rewarding as you make mealtimes an enjoyable experience. Your caring and patient attitude will be invaluable.

With your assistance as a mini van driver, elderly residents living in care be able to get out to socialise and enjoy outings in the local area. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the residents care needs.

We are currently looking for Volunteer Drivers to pick up or drop off older persons in company vehicles so they can attend the Hyland House Respite Centre in Petrie. A company vehicle is provided.
