Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. Seeking flexible, patient and reliable volunteers to mentor young people aged between 11 to 17, through engaging in negotiated recreational activities for a couple of hours per fortnight. Activities may include walking in the park, visiting the local library, attending festivals, playing sports, cooking or going for a drive together.

The role of the Youth Program Mentor is to support PCYC’s youth program’s participants by acting as a positive role model to help young people make better life choices and to create a positive and supportive relationship between mentees and the community.

Attending court can be challenging and distressing, especially if it is your first time. CRC’s trained volunteers provide information on court processes, where to seek advice, and emotional support to people attending local courts across NSW. Legal advice is not provided in this role.

Volunteer as a Facilitator to guide students through the digital resources and conduct facilitated small group discussion at Courage to Care workshops for Victorian students. The purpose is to help students explore their personal experiences, attitudes and behaviour to empower them to become effective Upstanders when encountering situations of racism, prejudice, bullying or discrimination.
