Fishability provides adults and school aged children with disabilities an opportunity to participate in recreational fishing in Perth and other areas of the State, The Program Coordinator will act as the volunteer in charge for the Perth South Fishability Program during each fishing activity and in the preparation beforehand. The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.
