Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) is a service providing primary and preventive care for our community members who are at risk of poor health outcomes, and experience health disparities. The HECHT Volunteer Program is an essential part of HECHT adult day activity Centre. HECHT supports older people and people with disabilities to remain living in their own home by providing a range of enjoyable and meaningful activities.

Inclusion Melbourne is a participant in the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS); a national program that aims to enrich the quality of life of older people and enhance their social connectedness. As a volunteer, you will be making a real difference by: • Spending time with participants engaged in shared interest activities • Providing companionship and support • Reducing the social isolation and loneliness experienced by some older people.

We are seeking Macedonian-speaking volunteer visitors who would love to bring joy to an older person's life through friendship. We have a fun position at Woolgoolga day programme helping our elderly clients with quizzes, bingo, morning tea and lunch. We are looking for a volunteer for Fridays between 9am and 3pm. A staff member will be on hand to train the volunteer
