The role includes picking up and dropping off clients from their homes, driving to and from the destination and having fun along the way. Please note, you'll be accompanied by a staff member at all times. Full training and ongoing support provided.

This gentleman is a kind-hearted and intelligent man living in an aged care facility on the Oakland’s Park area. Despite facing challenges such as brain injury and cancer, he remains a lovely and gentle soul. Unlike many residents, he enjoys discussing topics beyond the ordinary and loves listening to Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.

Balwyn Evergreen is a community centre for older people that's famous for its food service. We offer a popular weekly lunch with a three-course meal of soup, main and dessert, which changes weekly depending on ingredients and the occasion. We're looking for someone with kitchen experience to volunteer each Wednesday from 11am-2pm. The role involves food preparation and plating food. You'll be working with a small team of kitchen and dining volunteers and the program coordinator.
