A Consumer Advisor is a member of our community who can voice a lived experience of health care at Western Health. Consumer Advisors are part of the Western Health community and should reflect the diversity of our community We are looking for community members who are interested in participating in the design and delivery of research projects.

Volunteers are needed to offer mentoring and tutoring support to children from refugee backgrounds at their schools. Refugee children often feel isolated and anxious and subsequently withdraw from classroom participation 3 hours per week.

Interchange is a program within UMFC’s Carer Aged and Disability Service and provides support to children and young people with disability and their families/carers. Interchange is supported by volunteers to create social and recreational opportunities through group and individual activities.Volunteer Host carers provide a very special opportunity to support and enhance the life of a young person with a disability, their family and primary carers.
