The role of the Drop-In Support Volunteer is to support PCYC with the execution of PCYC’s diversionary “Drop In” program which supports youth participation through physical engagement in a safe and positive environment. This role focusses on supporting the PCYC staff with program and activity preparations, general engagements, and pack down of activity.

RDA is a voluntary organisation providing equine-assisted activities for people with disabilities to develop and enhance abilities through programs such as riding, dressage and carriage driving. Horses provide vital mental and physical stimulation for our disabled participants, improving their confidence, increasing their autonomy and delivering immeasurable amounts of pleasure. The boxes in which we release our wildlife / possums are made of 19mm pine to provide the best insulation during our hotter summers but are therefore 6.5kg plus wildlife weight (up to 2kg). Ladders and harnesses are used to ensure safety for our installation team and training in best practice WH&S is also provided.
