The role of the Drop-In Support Volunteer is to support PCYC with the execution of PCYC’s diversionary “Drop In” program which supports youth participation through physical engagement in a safe and positive environment. This role focusses on supporting the PCYC staff with program and activity preparations, general engagements, and pack down of activity.

ECOSS thrives on the wonderful input from our Volunteers. It would be very difficult for ECOSS to develop and progress the way we do without our Volunteers. From working in the nursery and in our gardens. including the Community Garden, helping with our projects and events to helping in the office, our volunteers give a large amount of time. OzHarvest, Australia's leading food rescue organisation, requires the services of a Volunteer Food Rescue Assistant, to assist our Van Driver in collecting quality surplus food from the food industry and distributing it, same day, to local charities who provide food relief to people experiencing food insecurity in our Cairns community, as well as reducing the environmental impact of food waste!
