Each rider has a volunteer leading their horse and most will have at least one side walker in support. (C)

Ideally you would have some experience or sound handyman skills. The role can require a level of physical stamina from time to time, so you need to possess manual dexterity. Our Aged Care residents love to head out on excursions! This rewarding volunteer role will drive our residents on a mini-bus to various locations so they can enjoy the great outdoors.

With your assistance as a mini van driver, elderly residents living in care be able to get out to socialise and enjoy outings in the local area. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the residents care needs.

You will enable older clients who do not have transport to attend the groups for social connection, activities, morning tea and lunch. You will present a friendly and welcoming face to our clients and be supported by a paid staff member on the bus. There is minimal heavy lifting for this role and maximum positive contact with staff and clients.
