Homes for Heroes is a transitional support program that provides personalised veteran-centric, trauma-informed, recovery-orientated support to veterans that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The volunteer will drive veterans to their medical appointments or various social activities.

This volunteer role is in-person at our Parkville site with flexible days/ times (Between Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm). Tasks include completing Orygen Assist deliveries as required across our sites in the Northwest region of Melbourne and pick up & delivery of stock orders from our charity partners as needed (e.g. Foodbank & Pinchapoo).

Can you help to heat up meals, serve meals or do dishes? Chat with guests and share a meal with them. Our guests are isolated or financially disadvantaged people who need some extra support with meals and being with community.
