YPRL is seeking a new **Reading Dogs team** to join Thomastown Library. Our Reading Dogs program promotes children’s literacy by having children read aloud to dogs at the library. Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. Reading Dogs are accredited companion animals who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team by facilitating reading sessions. Moongala Women’s Community House in Bentleigh East is a not for profit, friendly community-based organisation, bringing people together and providing a range of courses and activities to the community. We require a volunteer to support our organisation with welcoming visitors to the House, receptionist duties including answering the telephone, session set up and pack up where required, hospitality, and general administration duties.
