We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. Our reservoir reserves are home to beautiful landscapes and unique flora and fauna. Join a group of like-minded people and help nurture these special places. Formed in 2016, our volunteers get to experience a beautiful ever-changing view and lovely breezes while they contribute their time in the garden beds. Meeting on Tuesdays the Sandpipers work along the Esplanade, Pioneer Cemetery and other high-profile green spaces in the CBD to support Council in keeping our gardens looking spick and span.
