We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. Volunteers wanted to help restore Woollahra Councils Bushland in Cooper Park (Kendall St) every Tuesday and the last Saturday of the month between 10am and 2pm. Tools and training provided. Please meet at Kendall St entrance to Cooper Park.

The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.
