Healthy Cities Illawarra has an exciting opportunity for volunteers to work alongside Healthy cities Illawarra’s health promotion Officers to assist with the delivery and evaluation of the Active In-Betweens program. The Active In-Betweens program supports children aged 8-12 years living in communities considered disadvantaged. It provides a weekly after-school program in local community settings with a focus on healthy lifestyles and physical activity.

Scouting engages and inspires young people aged 5 - 25 to develop confidence, resilience and leadership skills. Our adult leaders support this journey and develop life-changing skills along the way. We have a variety of volunteering opportunities available for adults who are up for some outdoor fun and adventure. PLAYGROUP ASSISTANT We are looking someone easy-going, friendly and sociable with a passion for children and people to assist our Playgroup Leaders in running 1-3 sessions per week at our community hub in Leopold.

Walk to Defeat MND is an inclusive, family-friendly event for the community to come together in support of a loved one living with MND or to pay tribute to someone lost to this devastating disease.
