    Disabled Surfing Beach Volunteer

    The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

  2. Help to plant trees in Rockingham!

    Fancy yourself a bit of a green thumb, or enjoy planting trees? Come along and help us to plant native species in Reserves and Parks within Rockingham! We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about our environment, while spending the day with like-minded people, working together to create Urban Shade Forests!

    emotion21 is a program of the Inclusion Foundation, that provides Australian-first innovative dance and fitness programs for children and young adults with Down syndrome. The benefits of the program are wide-ranging and include health, exercise, social and self-esteem for participants. The Mover supports the dance class teacher to ensure each participant is engaged, learning and receiving valuable and personalised feedback, and can access the full benefits of the program.
