We are currently looking for an Italian speaking volunteer for an isolated Italian speaking lady who lives in her own home. Do you live near Mooroolbark and can you spare 1 hour per fortnight? This lady would benefit greatly from regular contact by a visitor/friend. Regular contacts or visits have a positive impact in reducing social isolation and improving the well-being of the resident.

Secretary Do you have the desire to become a committee member? A Secretary is needed to assist an organisation that runs a club every Thursday. This is a long term position - 3 years minimum.

Are you passionate about community service and interested in supporting older members of the community? MACASA is a small not-for-profit providing support to older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. We are seeking volunteers to assist at monthly luncheons and/or other social outings. Main function is either the 3rd or 4th Wednesday of each calendar month.
