The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

Take the lead in organising the premier event of the year for the Cambodian Kids Can Charity and other fundraising events. Make a difference to at risk young girls who benefit from our fundraising by having safe place to live, paid for education and tutoring and the opportunity to give back their communities and attend university. We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about our environment, while spending the day with like-minded people, working together to create Urban Shade Forests!

A Walk in the Park for Fight Parkinson's. - Sunday May 5th, 2024 Course marshalls are needed around the course to direct walkers, assist them in any way and call in any incidents. This event supports the Geelong community. People with Parkinson's and their families walk to help raise funds and awareness. This is a fun volunteering experience for all involved.
